Anshuman Bhadauria chose the UPC to broaden his education and is taking the master’s degree in Numerical Methods in Engineering. Zhang Fengbo is a student at Tongji University (China) and is taking a double degree that includes the master’s degree in Civil Engineering. She now has the opportunity to get to know the research that is carried out in the University’s laboratories and research centres. Javier Esteban Verde is a student on the master's degree in Aerospace Science and Technology and he explains what brought him here from Argentina. Stephen Bates is an architect at the London practice Sergison Bates Architects and was at the UPC for a visiting studio with architecture students.

Maria Pau Ginebra is a full professor and the director of the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Group and the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy. Mateo Valero has been full professor since 1983 and teaches at the Department of Computer Architecture. In 2004, he became the director of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS).

These are the views of six people who have been linked, in one way or another, with the University and who have told us about their experience. Through them, we invite you to get to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an institution that has set itself the challenge of being international in all areas and at all levels.
