Virtual informative session of the Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (Smart Chemical Factories), a master's degree taught at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) at the UPC, with 100% teaching in English.

The master’s degree in Chemical Engineering: Smart Chemical Factories aims to produce engineers with the high-level competencies that will allow them to deal with current challenges in chemical engineering (sustainability, circular economy, climate change, etc.) and to take advantage of the opportunities that Industry 4.0 technology can afford.
The master’s degree provides advanced training for chemical engineers who will easily adapt to positions of responsibility in companies, research centres, universities and public administrations.

Virtual information session for the Master's degree in Interdisciplinary & Innovative Engineering, a master's degree taught at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) at the UPC, with 100% teaching in English.

One of the key factors in leading successful projects is for professionals from different areas to have strong skills in modern engineering methods such as big data, 3D printing, smart sensors and computer simulation. The master's degree in Interdisciplinary and Innovative Engineering has been designed to enhance such skills.

Get to know the ESEIAAT

The Terrassa School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering (ESEIAAT) offers a wide range of industrial, aerospace and audiovisual engineering degrees. Under the slogan “Your talent, our prestige”, the School teaches 10 bachelor’s degrees, several double degrees, 8 master’s degrees and more than 20 doctoral programmes.

University life at the School is dynamic, and student participation, international mobility, project-based learning, entrepreneurship and work placements through educational cooperation agreements are promoted and fostered. The School currently has a 90% graduate employment rate.

Anshuman Bhadauria chose the UPC to broaden his education and is taking the master’s degree in Numerical Methods in Engineering. Zhang Fengbo is a student at Tongji University (China) and is taking a double degree that includes the master’s degree in Civil Engineering. She now has the opportunity to get to know the research that is carried out in the University’s laboratories and research centres. Javier Esteban Verde is a student on the master's degree in Aerospace Science and Technology and he explains what brought him here from Argentina. Stephen Bates is an architect at the London practice Sergison Bates Architects and was at the UPC for a visiting studio with architecture students.

Maria Pau Ginebra is a full professor and the director of the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Group and the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy. Mateo Valero has been full professor since 1983 and teaches at the Department of Computer Architecture. In 2004, he became the director of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS).

These are the views of six people who have been linked, in one way or another, with the University and who have told us about their experience. Through them, we invite you to get to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an institution that has set itself the challenge of being international in all areas and at all levels. To this end it has drawn up and implemented the new Internationalisation Plan, to help the University to open itself up to the world.

Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Design and Development

The Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Centre (CITM) teaches the bachelor’s degree in Video Game Design and Development, which is designed for you to acquire the multidisciplinary competencies that are involved in the creation of video games and interactive materials and a solid scientific grounding in associated technologies, programming with multiple platforms , artistic and graphic design and 2D and 3D modelling and animation . Graduates may work in video game design individually or as part of a group, gain extensive knowledge of the industry and become familiar with the keys to entrepreneurship. The degree can be taken in Terrassa , in Catalan and Spanish, or in Barcelona, in English.
